In Britain, three children were removed from the care of their foster parents because the couple were members of UKIP. Social workers said membership of the party meant they were racists, and thus unfit to care for children.
In other news, opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood took to the streets in Cairo and Alexandria to protest Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s assumption of dictatorial powers. Angry mobs shouted slogans, and then ransacked and torched the offices of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Meanwhile, a man in Maine has been sentenced to five days in jail for hitting his estranged wife with his… ahem… manly organ.
