I’m too old to stay up all night watching presidential election results, especially when a contest is as dispiriting as this one. As of this writing, the race is still too close to call. But as Zero Hedge says, it doesn’t matter — “Today’s election is merely a choice of who is going to captain the sinking Titanic.” So when I wake up tomorrow morning, I’ll find out whether we’re going to have just plain economic collapse, or economic collapse PLUS a bonus EMP.
In more interesting news, city officials in the township of Alexandria in South Africa are offering a cell phone as a reward for every 60 rats caught. The city has been plagued recently by a massive infestation of rats.
