In other news, riots are engulfing parts of Tanzania, in particular Dar es Salaam and the island of Zanzibar. The trouble began over rumors that a 14-year-old Christian boy had urinated on a copy of the Koran. Angry Muslims took the streets and began torching churches, demanding that the blasphemous boy be beheaded. A firebrand Muslim cleric was then arrested for allegedly inciting some of the violence, whereupon new riots commenced in response. At least seven churches have been attacked.
